Bearfoot FX Honey Bee Overdrive

The Bearfoot FX Honey Bee Overdrive is a touch-sensitive lower gain overdrive that is designed to sound and react like small, vintage combos with appropriately worn tubes and speakers. The HBOD reduces overall headroom in the signal to make even large amps seem smaller and tighter.  The three control knobs on the HBOD let you dial in a variety of tones: the Volume control allows control over the overall volume without affecting the distortion; the Drive control varies the distortion complexity and saturation; the middle knob adjusts the nature of the EQ—counterclockwise adds in lows and changes the saturation interactively with the drive knob while clockwise adds a subtle adjustment to upper frequencies with most treble at full clockwise. The HBOD is intended to be used as a coloration effect, one that helps you create and preserve an overall tone in your rig.

Bearfoot FX is the brainchild of Bjorn Juhl of BJF Design and Donner Rusk of Donnerbox. Every pedal is handpainted and no two are exactly alike. The pedals now ship with a plain, unpainted bottom plate to help ensure the most secure contact with adhesive Velcro for use on pedalboards. Bearfoot FX pedals are handmade in St. Louis, Missouri, USA.
