The Danelectro '59 Divine 6-string double cutaway short horn body design is a tribute to the now legendary ?Deluxe? Model first launched in 1959 and another perfect example of why this iconic brand still remains one of the most popular styles of electric guitar. This hot reissue retains many of the original, stylish features, while upgrades include a pair of vintage 50 degree lipstick pickups with original USA wiring. Like the originals in the 1950s, the company's flagship clay with sand-cast and then sandblasted Alnico 6 magnets is housed in thin-walled 80/20 brass/zinc tubes that deliver a warm open low end, and even higher quality classic Dano wind chime and clarity. It goes without saying that the 59 Divine, with a smooth neck and smooth rosewood fingerboard with 21 frets, plays like a dream, while a fully adjustable bridge, precision cut bone nut and straight string pull to Gotoh Vintage 15:1 mechanics, provides precise tuning and intonation. We have left the cosmetics until the last time, as it is not only the symbolically sparkling clear jangle that inspires so many guitarists around the world to own a Danelectro but of course the cool looks and the distinctive Art Deco Guise. The ?59 Divine is available in 3 stunning finishes, dark walnut top and back, flame maple or fresh cream top and back, each with cream body bindings, cream/brown stacked hands and cream headstock. The original Danelectro Deluxe Was there at the beginning and arguably one of the first electric guitars to help the birth of rock and roll, the '59 Divine simply lifts the entire concept, perfect for a variety of styles from surf to country, rockabilly to blues to rock. Research ?Divine? And you will be beautiful, good looking... We say Delish!
