A modern reproduction of the OG Liverpool Fuzz-Tone, the Danelectro Nichols 1966 stompbox mimics the first fuzz ever created by the hands of Steve Ridinger: the founder of fOXX pedals and the current Danelectro pedal-guru. The Nichols 1966 houses a unique three-transistor circuit that spoons out a singular glass-shattering sound that sits somewhere between a fuzz and a distortion and means that this pedal responds beautifully to the volume pot of your electric guitar. Built for tone-tweakers, the control panel offers up the full gambit, so the Fuzz and Drive pots are supported by Tone and Volume pots and a specialised Stock/Mid Cut switch for some added sonic variation. No matter how many fuzz boxes you already have at your disposal, it's safe to say that none of them could ever do it like the Nichols 1966 does!
